Pseudosquillisma oculata

Obtained from - Saltwaterfish.com
Size - 3 Inches (76 Millimeters)
Gender - Female
Status - Arrived at a Wednesday (02/27/2013)

I meant to post this when it arrived but i didn't. When i was about to post this very rare Pseudosquillisma oculata. I thought it died as it stopped coming out from the rubble work. I assumed it had passed away, boy i'm happy i was wrong! It just recently appeared and more active as ever. I think it was hungry as i stopped placing food and she decided to hunt. Now its just out and about cleaning tidying its home and looking for food.

She's very happy as it appears to be but her body is whiting out. Kinda like milky? No idea what is going on and can't ask anyone as she's rare and no other captivity information is known of them. I'm just going to assume is ready to molt and i know its likely a wrong guess. Shrugs. I will see and will share when it comes available.

Raoulserenea komaii

Obtained from - BlueZooAquatics.com
Size - 2 - 3 Inches (50 - 76 Millimeters)
Gender - Female
Status - Arrives Friday (05.10.2013)

So this is my second Raoulserenea komaii, female. It looks just like the one i got from iBluewater.com but this one was very well priced. If only the very rare male Raoulserenea komaii didn't die from the supplier i would have had three of this kind. I will take extra more care of this little lady when i get her. I have a perfect spot to place her in. I would have to move the Neogonodactylus wennerae to ether a smaller HOB tank or let it fend for it self in the Display Refugium with Lilith, the Odontodactylus scyllarus.

This is the amazing and beautiful specimen. I oddly came upon her by opening my email and there she was. I nearly fell off me chair and snatch her right away! Currently in a tight spot with money but you don't often get this chance and price often. The one below was my first one from iBluewater.com; they are nearly identical! Legs are different color but basically the same.

Odontodactylus scyllarus

Obtained from - PhishyBusiness.com
Size - 4.5 Inches (114.3 Millimeters)
Gender - Female
Status - Arrives Tuesday? (03.12.2013)

After seeing Kharn's 'Kraken' & 'Juggernaut', Odontodactylus scyllarus. Made me want another that i could activity look after, something large enough that is interactive. This one reminds me of my very first Peacock, 'Illyria' and of course of 'Alice'. So, i saw this one sometime ago and it was priced quite nicely. She was still there and i guess it was meant to be mine!

I think she has some faint signs of shell rot. I think i can induce her to molt in hopes to get rid of it.

Lysiosquillina tridecimdentata

Obtained from - LiveAquaria.com
Size - 4 Inches (101.6 Millimeters)
Gender - Male
Status - Arrives Thursday (10.25.2012)

I was looking at my email on the Diver's Den and i saw this amazing little bugger! I knew it wasn't a Lysiosquillina maculata but it was listed as a Lysiosquillina sulcata. I remember seeing another 'Zebra' with thick arse bars on its body but i was to late on getting it. (Pictured below)

That one was more yellow! I messaged Dr. Roy right away and asked if Lysiosquillina maculata ever looked yellow. Where he replied simply, thats not a Lysiosquillina maculata but a Lysiosquillina tridecimdentata. My head spun and i wanted it! Sadly it was already sold and i had a feeling it was a female. If i bought it without thought. I'd would have had a pair! Its okay, i'll get my pair, lol. Reason i didn't get 'her' right away. Was that i already have two female Lysiosquillina maculata. I don't need a third unless its a male.

Comparing the two images you can see the shape of the carapace are different. Above image is more rectangular compared to the second image.  First image show larger eyes and raptorial appendage, where the second image has smaller eyes and raptorial appendage isn't seen. Again, i won't know until i get 'him' and look underneath for it's gonads.

The one i bought which is the first image, the Lysiosquillina tridecimdentata was collected in the Indian Ocean. 'It's' only just four inches and i'm assuming it has a long life a head. I only hope that the Lysiosquillina tridecimdentata is as hardy as the  Lysiosquillina maculata .

Gonodactylaceus graphurus

Obtained from - BlueZooAquatics.com
Size - 1.5 Inches (38.1 Millimeters)
Gender - Female
Status - Arrives Tuesday (07.24.2012)

Finally! I got a Gonodactylaceus graphurus. Plus its a female. She's rather small but better then being near full size. This one has really amazing patterns. I had just placed her in her new home, will get a video up of that later on.

The lighting given for her from BlueZoo made her look to have a darker pattern, however, in actual her pattern is more on the brown side. Gave her two large shells as homes and few small Onyx Nassarius Snail for food. She has quickly made her self at home. Not shy at all and has already explored and hunted a snail. Good signs! Hope to have her fore a long time! :)

Some of my own pictures when i got her.

Gonodactylus platysoma

Obtained from - BlueZooAquatics.com
Size - 2.5 Inches (63.5 Millimeters)
Gender - Female
Status - Arrives Tuesday (06.19.2012)

This would be my third Gonodactylus platysoma. The first two died, sadly. So the third should be the charm? This one is the darkest i have had. So i hope this one lives log as its also the smallest i have had too. I really like this species, they look amazing face to face. The pictures never do them justice!

Again, need a name!

So 'she' arrived! I thought it was a male but ended up being female. Not complaining, just surprised by it is all.

Gonodactylaceus ternatensis

Obtained from - BlueZooAquatics.com
Size - 3 Inches (76.2 Millimeters)
Gender - Male
Status - Arrives Tuesday (06.19.2012)

I told my self i wasn't going to get another Gonodactylaceus ternatensis, it be just the female. Now after having the female. I started to like her! Very active and curious! So, i wanted a male. So i'd have a pair. He wasn't what i wanted...there was a smaller male for sale but was sold right before i was going to get him. Then this guy appeared the next day. His three inches a bit larger the the female. No biggie and its not like i'm going to have them mate.

Isn't he kinda ugly? Now for a name, lol.

So, he just arrived and i think his the largest Gonodactylaceus ternatensis i ever gotten. His not very photogenic....it was very hard getting pictures of him.

See! Dark little bugger but i still like him :)
